Sky Bet League One fixtures released for next season
The fixtures have been released for the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season.
John Askey's first competitive game as Shrewsbury Town Manager will take place at the Montgomery Waters Meadow as Town face Bradford City on Saturday 4th August.
The squad will then travel to The Valley for their first away fixture to take on last season's Play-Off Semi-Finalists Charlton Athletic on Saturday 11th August.
Other standout fixtures include the two games against former Premier League side Sunderland, which will take place on Saturday 20th October (Home) and Saturday 29th December (Away).
This season's festive fixtures will see Town travel to Accrington Stanley on Boxing Day, whilst they will be at home on New Year's Day against Fleetwood Town.
The Easter period will see the side travel to Barnsley on Good Friday (19th April), before a home game against Oxford United on Easter Monday (22nd April).
Meanwhile, the season will end with a local derby as Walsall visit the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Saturday 4th May.
