Carabao Cup sees Town take on Burton at home
The draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup has taken place and Town have been drawn at home to Burton Albion.
We were in the north section of the competition with our ball number 32 drawn out before Burton’s 7.
The draw took place this morning in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam with former players Dennis Wise, Steve McManaman and Louis Saha performing the honours
The competition has seen Town do well in recent years with memorable games with the likes of Derby, Swansea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Chelsea. Last season we went out in a close fought game away to Nottingham Forest.
The game will be played the week commencing the 13th August and we will bring you full details as soon as they are confirmed.
