Jake Kean and Devonte Redmond to go on pre-season tour
John Askey has confirmed two trialist’s will travel with the squad on their Pre-Season trip to Spain.
Former Blackburn Rovers keeper Jake Kean and former Manchester United midfielder Devonte Redmond are the two travelling with the Town squad.
“We have two goalkeepers going with us,” Askey said.
“One is Jake Kean who was at Sheffield Wednesday and the other the first year pro (Cameron Gregory).
“Devonte (Redmond) is coming who was at Manchester United last year.
“I think it is important that we try keep the ones that have signed together going over there and trialist’s coming in once we are back.
“I hope they impress me, that’s the idea of getting them in. They’ve got good pedigree with one being at United and the other playing in the Premier League with Blackburn.
“All we can do is see. If they perform they have got an opportunity of a contract.”
The squad depart for Valencia on Sunday morning and return the following Sunday.
