Forces return to the Meadow for Inter Services Football
The RAF team will once again return to the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Wednesday 14th March when they entertain the Army in an Inter Services football match.
Shrewsbury Town and RAF Shawbury have a great relationship and the Montgomery Waters Meadow has become a second home to the RAF side in recent years.
The women's game will kick off at 2pm, whilst the men's fixture is a 7pm kick off.
Admission for both games is free and you can park at the stadium. There will be a collection for the RAF Benevolent Fund on the night.
The match ball will be delivered by a Griffin Helicopter from RAF Shawbury, subject to the weather and operational flying requirements.
These games are always keenly contested so why not come down and give the armed forces your support.
