Toto Injury Update

31 March 2018

Toto Nsiala got injured midway through the first half of the game away to Rochdale after a challenge with Stephen Humphrys.

Toto stayed down and needed treatment and after a long break in play he was stretchered off the pitch.  He was then taken to hospital for x-rays and to be assessed.

The x-rays showed a fracture to his cheekbone but no injuries to his neck or elsewhere.

He is now booked to see a consultant to have further assessment and advice and we will be a better prognosis once that has happened.

Toto tweeted this morning thanking everyone for the messages of support, he’s back home and feeling ok other than having a fat face.

After the game Town manager Paul Hurst spoke to the press about Toto.

“It makes it a damn sight harder if it’s not good news, but we can’t just get the white flag out and say that’s the season over”, said Paul.

“We all wish Toto well and hope for good news but at this moment of time we can only be hypothetical and wait to see what the news is.”

Thanks to all the medical staff and staff at Rochdale and the local hospital for their help and support for Toto.
