2018-19 Errea Kits

24 May 2018

New home and third kit for next season

Shrewsbury Town are pleased to confirm the Errea kits which we will be wearing through the 2018/19 Sky Bet League season.

We announced on Wednesday that we will be wearing the 2018/19 blue and amber striped shirt for the Sky Bet League One Play-off Final.  Stocks of the current home shirt are exhausted so to make sure the team look their best on Sunday the new shirt will be worn.

After discussions with Paul and the players they decided they wanted to wear the new Errea kit for Sunday’s final.

The current orange away shirt will continue as the away kit through the 2018/19 sesaon with no change.  The shirt was released at the start of the season and has become a big hit with Town fans making it one of the best selling away kits in the club's history.

The black kit will be an option as the third kit when the home and away shirts clash with the opposition home colours.

Town CEO Brian Caldwell spoke to ShrewsWeb about the reasons behind the kit changes.

“We had discussions with Paul and Chris at the end of last year about changes to the kits the first team would wear for the 2018/19 season", said Brian.

“The orange away kit has been a big hit with the team and with the supporters and I’m pleased this will continue to be used through the 2018/19.

“We are coming to the last year of the deal with Errea so it was decided to make a slight change to the home shirt with the amber stripes extended on the front.

“The supporters now have the choice of sticking with their current shirt as the change isn’t a big one or getting one of the new home shirts.

“It is nice to be returning to the classic blue and amber stripes which the club have worn during its history.

“I’m sure the supporters will be happy with the new kits and hopefully they will part of another chapter in the club's history.”
