Academy and Shadow Group trials to take place in June
Shrewsbury Town’s Academy will be hosting trials for both the Academy and Shadow Groups in June 2018.
The trials will be held at Shrewsbury College (SY2 6PR) on Saturday 9th June and Sunday 10th June, and are aimed at bringing in new young players to the club.
This year the Academy are looking for players in the Under-13s, 14s, 15s and 16s.
The trials will be led by our Lead Youth Development Phase Coach, Alex Ramsay, and he believes they provide a great opportunity to local talent.
“The trials provide local players with the potential to play at Academy level with an outstanding opportunity to progress onto our development pathway”, said Alex.
“In the past four seasons we have had 26 players go through this process and sign for Shrewsbury Town Football Club, whether that be immediately or following development time within our shadow programme.”

Saturday 9th June
Under 13's 11am - 1pm
Under 14's 2pm - 4pm
Sunday 10th June
Under 15's 11am - 1pm
Under 16's 2pm - 4pm
The above age groups are applicable for the 2018-2019 season.

All players will receive a confirmation email accepting you onto the trials day upon registration.
