Supporters Parliament Call On The Blue Amber Army

SP call on fans to be the 12th man against Charlton and pack the meadow

Shrewsbury Town welcome Charlton Athletic to the Montgomery Waters Meadow for the second leg of the Sky Bet League One Play-off semi final today, kick-off 5:15pm.

It is a massive game for both clubs but Town hold the slight advantage following a superb 1-0 win at the Valley on Thursday night.

Once again the support from the stands was superb on Thursday and the Supporters Parliament are asking for more of the same today and pack the meadow.

Ticket sales are close to the 9,000 mark and the game looks like being a sell-out.

Roger Groves of the Supporters Parliament is calling on the Blue Amber army to fill the stadium with noise and colour and act as the 12th man for Paul Hurst and his players.

“It is time for all supporters to get down to the Meadow tomorrow and get behind Paul Hurst and the team”, said Roger.

“I’ve seen Town in some important games over the years, and today will be another important game in our history.  We all want a positive result and we can play our part tomorrow with vocal and colourful backing from the stand.

“There are still a few tickets for a sale, the ticket office is open today from 10am so The Supporters Parliament urge as many people to get to the game, let’s fill the stadium and create the kind of atmosphere that the manager and players so richly deserve.”
