Eric Ramsay pre Wycombe Wanderers

23 November 2018

Eric Ramsay looks ahead to Town's fixture with Wycombe Wanderers.

Shrewsbury Town take on Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow afternoon in the return to Sky Bet League One action.

Town will be looking to make it four wins on the bounce with a win over the Chairboys.

Academy Manager Eric Ramsay was pleased with the result last time out and hopes Town can now gather momentum going forward.

“We were actually disappointed with how we played in the first-half against Salford,” said Eric.

“The feel the game had was phenomenal and there certainly is momentum amongst the group, and the club as a whole.

“I have loved it so far, the group are great to work with and I feel like the players are in a really good place at the moment.

“Every morning when you come in there is a really good feel to the place – I think that has been reflected in the performances.

“The team have been in high energy and it feels like there is momentum building and that has been reflected in some of the physical statistics.”

Town next take on Wycombe Wanderers at the Chairboys’ Adams Park, and Eric is expecting a tough test from the home side.

“As ever we will be focusing on what’s in our changing room,” said Eric. “Wycombe do pose some unique threats.

“That hasn’t escaped our attention and we know what they are about – we have done our homework.

“I’d like to think that game after game it becomes more about our process with subtle tweaks on what the opposition do.

“We are aware of their threats, we have a plan to deal with it and we will see how that pans out come game day.

“We have a really good group of players and it strikes me that if they are on it – they are one of the best teams in the league.”
