Town fans help raise over £2200 for the Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion teamed up with Shrewsbury Town to produce a special edition poppy pin.
The new pin was created to help commemorate this year’s Remembrance period, which also marks the centenary of the end of the First World War.
The badge was sold online by the British Legion but also in the club shop at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Sales in the clubshop topped the £2260 mark with all the funds going back to the British Legion.
There were also sales of the normal remembrance poppies around the stadium and that money has also gone back to the British Legion.
A big thank you to all Shrewsbury Town fans that bought the special edition poppy pin badges to help remember all those who fought and died in conflict.
