Shrewsbury Town Head Chef shares his Valuable knowledge with young Shropshire lad.

Tom Fox-Davies met up with Head Chef Dave Hindhaugh to undertake a full days work experience at the training ground. Tom is hoping to secure a position as a Chalet Host in France for the start of the skiing season. The position of a Chalet Host requires Tom to be able to cook each day for a large group of people similar to what Dave does on a regular basis. 
 
"What I'm learning to do here today is how to prepare the food, cook the food and getting a little taste of what it's all about so when I get there I kind of have a basic idea and understanding of what I'll need to be doing. 
 
"It's a great facility to be learning all these skills." 
 
"Dave's been very good, he gives me a quick run through of what I need to do and is very precise about when everything needs to be done." 
 
"Being able to cook is a great skill to have." 
 

"Today we've prepared Turkey Cranberry Burgers and some spiced potato wedges."
