A look at how our players have got on away from the club
Bryn Morris started for Wycombe as they lost 3-2 in an entertaining encounter against Walsall. Walsall took a 2-0 lead before an own goal from Walsall allowed Wycombe back into the game. However 4 minutes later another own goal was scored down the other end of the pitch. Wycombe had a goal disallowed in added time. Samuel scored in the 92nd minute for Wycombe, a minute after the disallowed goal but it wasn’t enough to earn them an away point. Morris had a couple of good strikes throughout the game which were well saved.
Luke Hendrie started for Grimsby Town as they lost 2-0 away to Crewe. Two goals in 7 minutes in the second half was enough to see Crewe take home all 3 points. Hendrie had a good chance to give Grimsby the lead in the first half after they were awarded a free kick. Hendrie managed to get a shot off but it was saved by the keeper.
Cameron Gregory and Christos Shelis both started for Halesowen as they thrashed Grantham Town 4-0 in the FA Trophy. A fantastic clean sheet for the pair.
George Hughes was an unused sub for Stalybridge Celtic as they beat Nantwich Town 1-0.
