Ollie Norburn Pre Fleetwood Town

12 October 2018

Ollie Norburn looks ahead to Town's fixture with Fleetwood.

Shrewsbury Town take on Fleetwood Town in the clubs next Sky Bet League One fixture.

Town will be looking to make the fixture the fifth game unbeaten, after an impressive win over Tranmere Rovers.

Ollie Norburn was pleased to get the league win under his belt and feels the victory can help his team kick on.

“It was good to get the win,” Norburn said. “I thought the opening 10 or 15 minutes was a difficult spell for us, but then they got the sending off.

“It sometimes makes it more difficult. I have experienced that before – they sit in and it’s harder to break down, but we got there and got the three points.

“At the end of the day it’s three points for us on the board and hopefully we can continue that in the league.

“It’s just about taking it into the next league game, which is Fleetwood on Saturday.

“It was a good result mid-week and now it’s just about building.”

Norburn is expecting a tough game from Joey Barton’s side, but feels his team can come away with a positive result.

“They have had some good results,” the midfielder said. “They have got some decent players, but we just need to worry about ourselves.

“What ever team is selected – there is enough quality in there to go out and get results. I think it’s time for us to start doing that now.

“We are going to a decent side, but we have just got to think about ourselves and work on the training ground to take it into the game.

“The mood around camp is good, everyone gets along well, so everyone just wants to be winning games of football.”
