Loan Update

10 September 2018

A look at how our players are getting on away from the club

Bryn Morris started for Wycombe as they lost 3-2 away from home to Charlton. Morris was the catalyst for Wycombe's first goal, he did excellently to win a throw which was taken quickly, Curtis Thompson received it and found Randell Williams in acres of space just outside the box. The Watford loanee took a touch and curled a low effort past the keeper. Morris also had a couple of impressive strikes blocked later on in the game.

John McAtee started for Ashton United but only got 45 minutes under his belt as he was tactically substituted at halftime. It was a day to forget for Ashton as they lost 5-0 to table toppers Chorley. Ashton are still waiting for their first win at home this season.

Luke Hendrie was an unused sub in Grimsby's 4-0 away loss to Bury. Two goals in the first half from Mayor and Aimson and two goals in the second half one an own goal by Danny Collins and a fourth goal in the 70th minute from Mayor again was enough to see Bury pick up their 2nd win of the season.

Sam Jones was not part of the squad for Cheltenham Town on Saturday as they won 3-1 away from home against Northampton Town.
