Ollie Norburn reflects on his teams 1-1 draw against Bristol Rovers

Shrewsbury Town Midfielder Ollie Norburn was frustrated to not pick up all three points against Bristol Rovers.

Town drew 1-1 with Rovers, despite the visitors being down to 10-men for the final 20 minutes of the game.

However, Norburn believes results will come soon.

“It’s frustrating,” Norburn told Shrewsweb.

“Especially when you’re on top and you’re playing good football, you’re dominating games and everyone’s giving it their all, you can’t fault anybody.”

“We’re not getting the rub of the green but I’m sure it’s going to come. There’s enough quality, there’s enough good players in there, the players are together.”

“Hopefully its going to turn around and turn around quick.”

“We’re on to Portsmouth now, there’s nothing we can do about it, we’ve just got to keep going, keep playing and keep being brave on the ball.”

Whalley created Town’s equaliser and Norburn was very impressed with his performance in the game. “He’s a class player. He just needs to keep doing what he’s doing.”

Norburn was frustrated to miss a couple of games through injury but is happy to be back on the pitch and feeling his best. “First game I felt a bit tight then second game I got a knock which was me out for a few games, 90 minutes the other night and 90 minutes today hopefully get some more minutes in me and score some goals.”

Ryan Sears made his debut for Town and Norburn was impressed with his performance. “Fairplay to him, he’s settled in well, confident, you wouldn’t have thought it was his debut, he was steady, very well done to him”
