Shrewsbury Town’s programme ‘Town Talk’ is now on-sale for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One home game against Gillingham.
This year we are remembering the 40th Anniversary of the 1978/79 season when Town were promoted from the third tier to what is now the Championship.
To celebrate this incredible campaign we have a number special features including a look back on the season by former Shropshire Star reporter Bob Davies. Stuart Dunn will talk to the players and management that made it such a special 12 months and we will also be getting your favourite memories.
With this season also seeing the first use of Safe Standing in England and Wales, Roger Groves from the Supporters’ Parliament will take a look at how it came about.
