Sam Ricketts gives an update on Dave Edwards post operation.
Shrewsbury Town can confirm David Edwards underwent Ankle Ligament surgery this week.
The operation was successful and the midfielder will now work with Town's medical team in order to return to action next season.
Town manager Sam gave the following update on the midfielder. He said: “Dave had his operation earlier this week and it went well.
“He will start his recovery phase from that which started as soon as he woke up really.
“We will be doing everything we can to get Eddo back and ready for next season.”
