Loan Update

29 April 2019

A look at how our players are getting on away from the club.

Ryan Barnett’s season with Telford ended in disappointment as Telford lost 1-0 away to York City. The Bucks needed a win to give them a spot in the play-offs. Barnett dropped to the bench but came on in the 72nd minute. Barnett’s time at Telford has been full of positives. He has started almost every game since joining the club on loan, picked up multiple man of the match awards and has helped Telford to have an extremely successful season.

George Hughes got on the score sheet for Newtown as they beat Barry Town 3-1 away from home. Hughes scored Newtown’s second goal in the 60th minute.

Lee Angol was not part of the newly promoted Lincoln City squad that lost 1-0 to Newport County.

Abo Eisa started for Colchester as they beat play-off rivals MK Dons 2-0 at home. Colchester need to win on the final day to stand a chance of making the last play-off spot.

Doug Loft started for Dagenham & Redbridge as they played their final game of the season against Solihull Moors. The Daggers drew 1-1 with Solihull and finished the season 18th in the National League.
