Luke Waterfall Pre Barnsley

19 April 2019

Luke Waterfall previews Town's fixture with Barnsley.

Sam Ricketts and his team travel to Oakwell tomorrow afternoon to face off with Barnsley.

Town will be looking to make it three consecutive away wins after securing three points last time out against Gillingham.

Luke Waterfall was pleased his side managed to secure a win against the Gills last time out and hopes to see his team pick up another result.

“It was a very good away performance last time out,” said Luke. “The last couple of away games have been really good.

“The two 2-0 wins have been really pleasing. We all know what our away record has been like this year.

“It’s pleasing to get back on track with the clean sheets. You can’t ask for much more than that.

“There is no easy games in this league but I thought we were solid. I thought we restricted them to very little.

“The lads' spirits are up and we now have a great game to look forward to. It’s one of the best games on the fixture list.

“It’s a big club and it’s always nice to go and play against good teams.”

Luke is expecting a tough game against the Tykes but feels his team have enough to get a positive result.

“It’s a game I am looking forward to,” said the defender. “It’s one of those that you look at when the fixtures are released.

“We are looking forward to it and hopefully we can go up there and come back with a good result.

“They’re up there and battling for automatic promotion, so it’s a game that we are wary of.

“We are wary of the players that they have got but they aren’t unbeatable. They can be got at and beaten.

“We are going there full of confidence off the back of a good win. We will go there an think about ourselves and think about what we can do.”
