The Safe Standing area of the Montgomery Waters Meadow is officially a sellout.
Shrewsbury Town are pleased to confirm that the Safe Standing area has fully sold out for Town’s clash with Scunthorpe United.
A Town initiative saw the area open for only five pound per adult ticket, which has proven to be very popular with Town fans.
Roger Groves from the Supporters Parliament is pleased with the sellout and is looking forward to being a part of the atmosphere come game day.
“We sold it out against Wolves, so it’s great to have sold it out again.” Said Roger. “It comes at a perfect time.
“Last season the Safe Standing guys roared the team on and did things off the pitch to help the atmosphere.
“It’s great to see it sell out and we will be getting the flags out and hopefully we can roar the team on.
“The league table is crazy and anybody can beat anyone on their day. There is a lot to be positive about."
