Season Tickets Sales Pass The 2,000 Mark

Sales of season ticket for the 2019/20 Sky Bet League season have passed the 2,000 mark for total sales.

Town fans have been keen to get their season tickets at the Early Bird prices which guarantees their seat for all games at the Montgomery Waters Meadow next season, as well as giving them around seven Sky Bet League games for free.

Season Tickets prices were set last season at a price which rewards supporters who come each week, as well as making it great value for younger supporters to come to games.

U12 season tickets are once again FREE, while for a 12-18 year old it works out at just over £4 per game and for 19-23 year olds it is just over £8 per game.

The Early Bird deadline runs up until Sunday 14^th with the ticket office open on between 10am and 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday for sales.

Supporters who were planning to take up the Zebra Finance option should get in touch with the ticket office in person or email tickets@shrewsburytown.co.uk.

We are currently looking into alternative options and hope to have something in place very shortly. If it is not in place by the 14^th we will honour the Early Bird prices for those who have got in touch to express an interest in purchasing their tickets via finance.

Shrewsbury Town CEO Brain Caldwell is pleased with the take-up on the Early Bird offer.

“We have been pleased with the Early Bird season ticket sales and it’s great to see supporters buying in good numbers”, said Brian.

“We have tried to make sure that the season ticket price and Early Bird offer are good value and I think supporters have seen that.

“Sales so far are just a little down on this time last season but that is to be expected with how the season has gone so far.

“We have all seen the fight and performances that Sam and the players have put into recent games and when you look at our form over recent months it has been decent.

“Our current Sky Bet League One position is the highest we have been in recent years, bar last season.

“The final total this season, once the season had started, was around 3,500 and it would be good to get close to that total once again.”
