Shrewsbury Town are delighted to confirm that Steve Morison has agreed to join the club on a permanent deal.
Town have come to an agreement with Millwall for the loan to become permanent as Steve was in the final year of his contract. The loan deal was set to run until the end of the season and that now becomes a permanent deal until the end the season.
It means Moro is now a permanent Shrewsbury Town player and also frees up another possible loan place.
Town manager Sam Ricketts is pleased that Moro has agreed to join the club on a permanent deal.
"It is really good news, Moro has come in and really enjoyed his time at the club while hitting the ground running", said Sam.
"Between us, we have decided to make that loan deal a permanent one which is good news.
"It shows that he is enjoying it here and certainly wants to stay here."
Steve has a wealth of experience playing for clubs in the Premier League and Championship for some big clubs. It's a great reflection on the Town set-up that he is happy to join permanently.
"He's loved it since he's come in and it just means we can convert that loan to a permanent deal", said Sam.
"It also means it guarantees he will be with us for the rest of the season."
