Town announce alternate white and purple third kit to be worn at Portman Road
Ahead of Saturday’s match against Ipswich Town, the Match Referee has expressed concerns to the EFL of a potential kit clash with Ipswich Town’s blue home kit and our purple away kit despite our home and away kit designs being lodged with the EFL back in June and no feedback was received until Wednesday afternoon that there could be any issues.
Obviously our blue and amber home kit is also unable to be worn, however Official Kit Suppliers, Admiral have supplied us at very short notice with a white shirt to be worn with purple shorts and white socks.
Thankfully Admiral have provided us with this shirt for the players which will avoid any form of clash to assist the Referee. We are very grateful to everyone at Admiral for their assistance at such short notice.
