Dave Edwards previews Town's trip to the University of Bolton Stadium.
Shrewsbury Town face a quick turn-around this weekend as Sam Ricketts’ side take on Bolton Wanderers this Sunday.
Town will be looking for a return to winning ways at the University Of Bolton Stadium following on from a defeat last time out against Rotherham United.
Shrews midfielder Dave Edwards is pleased with such a swift opportunity to secure another win and feels his team have enough to trouble the Wanderers.
“Bolton in a couple of days give us an opportunity to get the three points to push us back up there,” said Dave. “The start of the season was really tough for them but they have definitely picked up.
“They drew against Sunderland last time out, so they are getting better and better. They are a completely different team from the start of the season. They are at home and will be confident – it’s going to be a tough test.
“We know if we perform like we can do, with the same resilience in recent weeks, we can go there and get three points. It’s a lovely stadium with a lovely pitch, we’ll have no excuses about not being able to pass the ball.
“Hopefully we can go there and put in a good performance. We need to put the Rotherham result behind us - we are a better team than that. We will be making sure we are right for Sunday."
