A look at how our players are getting on away from the club.
Abo Eisa scored his second goal for Colchester as they beat Cheltenham 3-0. Eisa scored the U’s 3rd goal in the 56th minute with a cool finish on the 6-yard line. He played a large part in Colchester’s second goal and had a couple of great attempts from outside of the box.
John McAtee scored the winning goal in a thrilling 3-2 victory against Alfreton Town. Alfreton were leading 2-0 until the 48th minute before Ashton began their 3 goal comeback. McAtee also popped up with an assist for Ashton’s second goal.
Lee Angol appeared as 74th-minute sub as Lincoln drew 1-1 with Northampton. Lincoln did well to end the game with a point having been reduced to 10 men in the 42nd minute.
Doug Loft started for Dagenham and Redbridge as they narrowly lost 1-0 away from home to Wrexham.
Ryan Barnett played a full 90 minutes for Telford as they lost 3-1 to Brackley Town.
George Hughes also played a full 90 minutes as Newtown lost 5-0 away from home to TNS.
