Omar Beckles previews Town's fixture with Burton Albion.
Shrewsbury Town take on Burton Albion this weekend as Town return to the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Town will be looking to go a step further off the back of Town’s draw with Bristol Rovers by getting all three points.
Omar feels Town’s last performance is something that his team can take encouragement from.
“The last game was good, good to be a part of,” said the defender. “It was a contrast to some other performances.
“I think there was a fighting spirit. You can see the real fight and it gave me a level of reassurance knowing things will be fine.
“Ro-Shaun was brilliant on his debut. As a young lad he has come in well and he has a bright future ahead.”
Omar is looking forward to the battle with the Brewers and feels his team have enough to get all three points.
“Their form hasn’t been great, so we are hoping to capitalise on that,” said Omar. “It’s a massive, massive game for us.
“Every game is massive now. We are looking to come in and step away with three points.
“We want nothing less, so that is what we are going to go for. It has to be a fortress at home and recently is hasn’t been that.
“I strongly believe if we can build from a game like Saturday and turn the ground into fortress, we have a chance to get where we want to be.”
