Praise for steward after helping Luton supporter to celebrate
Following the Luton Town game one of our stewards has received a lot of praise on social media.
Loviu Ngozulu, who is one of our contracted SIA from Belmont Security, was seen helping a Luton fan to celebrate when The Hatters scored.
George Barnard is in a wheelchair and travels all over the country supporting his team. When Luton scored Loviu helped George from this chair to join in the celebrations.
Shrewsbury Town’s safety officer Lawrence Ellerby has praised the way Loviu helped George to celebrate.
I was pleased to see the feedback across different social media platforms for Loviu’s actions which he has been rightly congratulated on, from not only Luton Town and Shrewsbury Town supporters, but from across the football community in general”, said Lawrence.
“I have also personally received numerous positive comments about Loviu and the stewarding operation in general from Luton Town supporters.
“As a club we do get positive feedback on our stewarding regularly, but when someone goes that little bit further as Loviu did on Saturday it is only right he should be recognised and congratulated for his actions.”
