Bryn Morris Joins Portsmouth

Undisclosed fee as Bryn Morris moves to Pompey

Bryn Morris has completed a move to Sky Bet League One side Portsmouth for an undisclosed fee.

Bryn had been on loan at Wycombe for most of the season and since returning to Town there has been interest from a number of clubs.

Bryn was brought to Town in January 2017 by then manager Paul Hurst and he went on to play 13 appearances in the second half of the season.  Last season a slight injury kept him out at the start of that season, Bryn came into the squad after the injury to Abu Ogogo but this season he didn’t feature and went on loan to Wycombe Wanderers.

Town’s midfield is a strong area with Anthony Grant, Ollie Norburn, Greg Docherty, Josh Laurent doing well, and now with the addition of Dave Edwards that midfield looks even stronger.

Town manager Sam Ricketts believes it is a good move for both parties and wished Bryn well for the future.

“Firstly it’s a really good move for Bryn, he’s out of contract in the summer and has spent the first half of the season out on loan”, said Sam.

“He’s done well and wants to go and play football every week.

“What we have managed to do with a player who is out of contract in the summer is to secure a transfer fee for him.

“We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his time at the club.”
