Doug Loft joins Dagenham and Redbridge on-loan until the end of the season
Midfielder Doug Loft has joined National League side Dagenham and Redbridge on-loan until the end of the season.
Loft signed for Town in the summer but has only made 5 appearances for the first team so far this season.
Sam Ricketts spoke to Shrewsweb about Loft's loan move.
“Doug signed in the summer, it hasn’t quite worked out for him. His family have stayed down in the Colchester area. What we’ve tried to do is free him up, he was travelling obviously large distances, so it was an ideal time for him to move back home with his family and play some regular football as well.
“We wish him all the best for the future.”
