Josh Laurent looks ahead to Town's clash with Charlton Athletic.
Shrewsbury Town return to the Montgomery Waters Meadow this weekend for Sky Bet League One Action.
Town will face off with Charlton Athletic in the midst of a busy January period.
Josh Laurent has enjoyed the busy schedule and feels he and his teammates are coping well with the demand.
“The bigger games have been a bit easier, because naturally you raise your game,” said the midfielder.
“We have all done well in big games. We look forward to the games to see how they set up, what they do and what they do differently to you.
“The replay against Stoke is another chance. I thought we should have won, we had the better chances and they never really had clear-cut chances.
“We kept them quiet, but they will be up for it now with the new manager and being at home.
“I don’t think other teams look at us and think we are an easy target – we give anyone a good game.”
Town welcome the Addicks to the Montgomery Waters Meadow tomorrow afternoon, but Josh Laurent feels his team have nothing to fear going into the tie.
“The last game was really tight,” said Josh. “They have some good players and have a really good team.
“I think we were a little bit unlucky last time. We made a couple of little mistakes and they punished us for it.
“It’s going to be a good game. Our home form is good and we need to win.
“Teams come to our place now and sort of think they’re getting a good game, because we are good at home.
“Fleetwood came and sat back and were happy to take the draw. So, hopefully we can kill off Charlton early in the first-half.
“We have nothing to fear at home – the form speaks for itself. I can't remember the last time we lost at home to be honest.
“We look at every game as just three points and we are at home. In our minds we are the bigger team at home.”
