Lee joins high flying Imps until the end of the season
Striker Lee Angol has joined Sky Bet League Two side Lincoln City on-loan until the end of the season.
The striker signed for Town on deadline day in the last transfer window but hasn’t featured for the Shrews as much as he would have liked.
Lee will spend the remainder of the season out on-loan with the Imps as they continue their push to win the league.
Sam Ricketts gave his thoughts on the strikers move to the Imps.
“Lee Angol is going out to Lincoln,” said Sam. “It’s an opportunity for him to play some games.
“He hasn’t got the game time here that he would have wanted. He’s now going to join a team who are top of the table.
“Hopefully he can play some games and score some goals. Getting back playing football is what he wants to do.
“Lee is a goal scorer, so he just needs to go and score goals and maybe get another promotion on his CV.”
Every one from Shrewsbury Town would like to wish Lee good luck for the remainder of the season.
