Loan Update

3 January 2019

A look at how our players are getting on away from the club.

Bryn Morris has returned to Shrewsbury after a successful loan period with Wycombe Wanderers. He scored 4 goals in 15 appearances for The Chairboys.

Luke Hendrie started for Grimsby in their last two games. A win on the 29th against Exeter City which ended 2-1 in an entertaining game. After leading 1-0, Grimsby were reduced to 10 men in the 51st minute. Exeter then equalised in the 78th minute. Grimsby responded 2 minutes later with a goal to secure a huge three points. However, they couldn’t keep that winning run going as they lost 0-1 at home to Mansfield Town on New Years Day.

Sam Jones was involved in a 2-2 draw on the 29th against Forest Green Rovers before being substituted in the 56th minute for Cheltenham. New Years Day saw Cheltenham pick up a big 1-4 away win against Yeovil Town. However, Sam Jones only featured on the bench. The Robins are now 18th in League Two.

Arthur Gnahoua started for AFC Fylde as they beat Harrogate Town 2-1 on the 29th. Arthur proved a problem for Harrogate's defence and created several dangerous chances but couldn’t get on the score sheet. Gnahoua started again for Fylde on New Years Day as they drew 0-0 to Barrow.

Ryan Barnett started both of Telford's last 2 games. The first game was an impressive 4-1 victory at home against Leamington FC. The Bucks started the new year off with a bang as they came from behind against Nuneaton. 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of the game secured all 3 points for Telford. Barnett played a pivotal role in both games to help Telford to victory.

John McAtee is yet to feature for Curzon Ashton after picking up an injury.
