Community Football Hub is set to open on Friday 1st February
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are set to complet the takeover of the PowerLeague Shrewsbury site at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
The Community Football Hub will open from Friday 1st February with all existing bookings carrying on as normal.
Familiar faces will greet users of the Community Football Hub with all of the existing PowerLeague Shrewsbury staff being retained.
All current bookings will continue as normal and we have plenty of pitch space available for community groups. Casual bookings are also welcome if you just want to pop down and have a kick around with your mates.
The facility will ensure that Shrewsbury Town in the Community will:
- Increase participation in physical activity
- Provide further opportunities for employment and volunteering
- Further develop links with local schools and grassroots clubs

STITC Head of Community Jamie Edwards is excited about developing and improving their new facility.
‘We are delighted to be working in partnership with Shrewsbury Town Football Club and the Supporters Parliament to maintain a quality facility”, said Jamie.
“We now have the platform to increase our offer particular around recreational football, health and matchdays.”
