Ryan Haynes pre Wolves

25 January 2019

Ryan Haynes previews Town's FA Cup clash with Wolves.

Shrewsbury Town return to Emirates FA Cup action with a fourth-round tie with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Town progressed into the next round with a 3-2 win over Stoke and will welcome Wolves to the Montgomery Waters Meadow this weekend.

Ryan Haynes spoke to Shrewsweb about the last game against Stoke saying how it almost felt like a dream.

"It was just one of those FA Cup nights. Being 2-0 down and coming back to win 2-3 it was just stuff that you dream of happening but you think it will never happen but it did and it was really enjoyable.

"We showed our team spirit, stuck together and came away with a victory."

Ryan is expecting a tough test against Premier League Wolves on Saturday.

"Obviously they're a very good team. You saw it on the weekend, they don't look out of place against the other sides. It's going to be a hard game but like we went into the Stoke game, we're just going to go in fearless and see what happens.

"It's a challenge. As a footballer you look forward to these challenges, we're in League One and they're in the Premier League. So it's a challenge to go and test yourself against these top players.

"It's going to be a very good day for Shrewsbury. It's a sell-out, so there's going to be a lot of people there. A lot of families and young kids watching, so hopefully, we can put on a show for them and make a day for them to remember."
