Wolves will travel to Stoke City or Town in the Fourth Round of The Emirates FA Cup
The fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup has taken place and Stoke City or Town have been handed a home tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Town will travel to Stoke on Tuesday 15th January for the Third Round replay after playing out a 1-1 draw at the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Saturday. Town took the lead through an Ollie Norburn penalty but Stoke levelled late on with a Peter Crouch strike.
The Fourth Round of the Emirates FA Cup is scheduled to be played on the weekend of the 27th of January.
Town manager Sam Ricketts is focused on the replay next week at the Bet365 Stadium.
“I think it’s a great draw, a local derby against a Premier League side at home is what the FA Cup is all about.” said Sam.
“But before we can even start to think about that we have some really important games and a huge task to go and beat Stoke at their own ground.
“We will of course give it our best shot when the time comes and hopefully then we can start to think about the next round.”
