Bristol City await the winners of the Wolves v Town replay
The fifth round draw for the Emirates FA Cup has taken place and the winners of the replay between Wolves and Shrewsbury Town will travel to Bristol City.
Town will travel to Molineux next week for the fourth round replay after the 2-2 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday. Goals from Docherty and Waterfall had seen a possible cup upset but the Premier League side hit back with goals from Jimenez and Doherty to take the game to the replay.
The fifth-round ties will take place between 15-18 February.
Town manager Sam Ricketts is glad to be in the draw but is focused on the Sky Bet League games before a hard replay with Wolves.
“It’s great to be in the draw for the 5th round but it means nothing currently as we have a very hard replay at Molineux next week to contend with before we look any further”, said Sam.
“Before we can think about the Wolves replay there are two very important league games to focus on.”
