The draw for the EFL Trophy has taken place with Town placed in group D of the Northern section of the draw.
We already knew we would be playing games against Port Vale and Macclesfield Town and today’s draw has added Newcastle United U21s to our group.
The games will be played as follows.
Port Vale v Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury Town v Newcastle United
Shrewsbury Town v Macclesfield Town
