Amadi-Holloway Makes Move Down Under

25 June 2019

Shrewsbury Town can confirm that striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway has made a permanent move to Australian side Brisbane Roar for an undisclosed fee.

Aaron will join up with Brisbane and head coach Robbie Fowler as they prepare for the new Hyundai A-League campaign.

Aaron joined Town from Oldham Athletic last summer and made over 40 appearances in league and cup scoring three times.

Town manager Sam Ricketts thanked Aaron for his efforts at Town and is sure he will quickly adjust to life in the A League.

“The move is a great opportunity for Aaron and is a chance to play football in another country at a good level”, said Sam.

“I hope the move goes well for him as he embarks on life in Australia helping Brisbane in the Australian A League.

“I would like to wish Aaron all the best and thank him for his hard work and hope him and his family enjoy their move and quickly settle in Australia.”

Everyone at Shrewsbury Town would like to thank Aaron for his dedication during his time at the club and wish him well for the future.
