Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce we will play a final pre-season game against Scottish Championship side Dundee United.
The game will be played at the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Saturday 27th July with a 3pm kick-off.
Dundee United had a good season last term making the end of season play-offs but just fell short in the two-legged semi-final against St Mirren.
The game will see the conclusion of Town’s pre-season matches as they prepare for the Sky Bet League One season kick-off at home to Portsmouth on Saturday 3rd August.
Shrewsbury Town manager Sam Ricketts is looking forward to a good test from United.
“It is a really good game for us and is a little bit of a different type of game to play”, said Sam.
“Rather than play someone in the English system it’s good to have something different.
“They are a good side with a good following and hopefully it will be a good game.
“It will be a really good test for us before the season gets underway and is a game I’m really pleased to have.”
Ticket prices for the game will be Adults - £10.00, Disabled - £5.00, Senior - £5.00, Junior 18 and under - £5.00 and Under 12’s – FREE.
