Ollie Norburn Pre Rochdale

Ollie Norburn previews Town's trip to the Crown Oil Arena.

Shrewsbury Town travel to the Crown Oil Arena this weekend as Town take on Rochdale.

Town will be looking to extend the unbeaten run to six games with a win over the Dale.

Ollie Norburn is glad his team are picking up points and hopes to see the momentum grow.

“I think in the last game we were the only team who looked like they would go on to win,” said Town’s midfielder.

“Wimbledon sat in and made it difficult last time out. We would have liked all three points but with the previous games – we are picking up points.

“We got seven points from nine and we will look back at it as a good week.

“We are building a little bit of momentum and we are five games unbeaten. We are looking ahead at Rochdale now and we want three point.

“It’s about keeping the same mentality, realising where we are and still fighting for each other.

“I am sure we can keep this form going. It is a matter of sticking together and we know what we are capable of.

“It’s down to ourselves to pull away from where we don’t want to be and the last five games have been positive.”

Ollie is looking forward to the clash with Rochdale and feels his team have enough to take all three points.

“Rochdale are down there, so it’s a massive game for both teams,” said Ollie. “We just need to carry on this run.

“We need to go away from home looking for the three points but we need to be solid and stick together.

“We look dangerous going forward and we have players on the bench who can come on and make a real difference.

“We just need to keep going. We have Rochdale and Plymouth, which is both teams who are around us.”
