Fejiri Okenabirhie picks up Top Goalscorer and Young Player of The Year 2019.
It was a fantastic night for Fejiri Okenabirhie who picked up the most awards of the night. Rybrook BMW & Mini Top Goalscorer and Young Player of The Year sponsored by Shropshire Homes.
Fey scored 16 goals in the 18/19 campaign. His goal against Coventry City earned Town a point which confirmed their Sky Bet League One Status.
“It’s great to be top goalscorer, as a striker that’s your main objective. That’s a target I set myself at the start of the season. It’s great to get the recognition of Young Player of The Year as well so I’m really pleased.
“Definitely, you always try to improve every year as a player and try and get better at everything you do. Hopefully next year I can achieve even more.
“I’ve really enjoyed the step up from the National League, I’m now playing with better players and I’m able to test myself against better players as well. I’ve been able to show people what I’m about as well.
“14 goals was my target at the start of the season so I’m delighted I’ve managed to achieve that. Next year I’ll set another target and see how I get on.”
