Ryan Barnett has joined AFC Telford United on loan.
Shrewsbury Town can confirm that Ryan Barnett has joined National League North side AFC Telford United on loan until May 2019 with a recall option.
Barney has already experienced successful spells with the Bucks which saw him pick up valuable game time and experience.
Sam Ricketts hopes for more of the same during this loan spell. "Barney will go out on loan to Telford, it's an opportunity for him to get some game time, he went there last year and did really well. It's important he plays to continue his development.
"He's been around the team and played the odd games but not enough to keep him here. Location wise it's good because we can keep an eye on him, he'll still be training with us on certain days so it suits both parties."
