Marcus Braddock looks ahead to this evenings Emirates FA Cup trip to Bradford City

Tonight, Town travel to Bradford for a reply in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup. Bradford were relegated from Skybet League One last season but are making an excellent job of returning at the first attempt. They didn't have a game at the weekend so they dropped to third in League Two but if they won their games in hand, they'd be top of the division. The Bantams have won more home games than anyone else in League 2 so far this season, meaning we're going to have a tough game. With the exception of the F.A. Cup, the cup competitions haven't been too kind to Bradford, in the League Cup they lost 4-0 at home to Preston and in The Leasing.com Trophy they've been beaten 2-1 by Manchester City u21 and 2-1 on Tuesday at home to Rochdale.

Head to Head

We've played Bradford three times in the F.A. Cup, twice in the 1990/1 season when we drew 0-0 at Valley Parade but won the replay 2-1 at Gay Meadow. The only other game in the F.A. Cup with the Bantams was in the 1975/6 season with Bradford beating us 2-1 at the Meadow.

Top Scorer

Bradford have shared the goals out quite equitably with thirteen goalscorers sharing 24 goals in League Two. Top Scorer is number 12, forward James Vaughan with five.

Assists

Clayton Donaldson 3
Harry Pritchard 3

Referee

Paul Marsden. Games this season: 14. Yellow cards: 45. Red cards: 1.

Squad News

Sam Ricketts has no new injury worries.

Summary

Bradford might be the team that is currently in a lower division but their home form has been decent this season, which should make them favourites to win. However, Town have given some good accounts of themselves on the road so it's likely to be close again.
