Pierre And Club Charged By The FA

The FA has charged Shrewsbury Town and Bristol Rovers in regards to an incident during our game.

In the 17th minute of the game which took place on Saturday 23rd November, there was an incident involving both players of Town and Bristol Rovers.
 
Following the incident referee, Graham Salisbury booked Josh Laurent, Ollie Norburn and Louis Thompson, as well as Anssi Jaakkola and Victor Adeboyejo of Bristol Rovers.
 
The FA have subsequently reviewed the incident and made the following charges.
 
'Aaron Pierre of FA Rule E1(a) in respect of the above fixture. It is alleged that your behaviour in or around the 17th minute of the fixture, as evidenced in the video clip, constitutes violent conduct.'
 
'Shrewsbury Town FC is hereby charged with misconduct for a breach of FA Rule E20 (a) in respect of the above fixture. It is alleged that in or around the 17th minute of the fixture, Shrewsbury Town FC failed to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained provocative behaviour and/or violent conduct.'
 
The club will decide whether to contest the charges.
