Shrewsbury Town have been handed a home draw in the Emirates FA Cup against Bradford City.
The draw took place on BBC2 this evening with Karen Carney drawing out or ball number 40, to be quickly followed by Jermaine Beckford pulling out Bradford.
Town and Bradford last met in the FA Cup in the 90/91 season where Town won the replay 2-1 at Gay Meadow, following a 0-0 draw in the First Round at Valley Parade.
Town manager Sam Ricketts is hoping that Town can repeat the Emirates FA Cup memories of last season.
"With any FA Cup draw all you can ask for is a home draw which we've got, so that's good", said Sam.
"Bradford are a team we know well, and they are doing well this season so it'll be a tough game, but something we're looking forward too when the time comes
"Hopefully we can have a good run like last season, which produced some great memories."
Matches to be played weekend starting 8th November, we will bring ticket details once the fixture is confirmed.
