Omar Beckles Post Lincoln City

Omar Beckles gives his reeaction to Town's draw against Lincoln City

Shrewsbury were unable to find the breakthrough in an open game against a 10 man Lincoln side. Town looked the more dominant in the second half and looked to kill the game off when Bolger was sent off for an elbow on Whalley in the 80th minute.

Tonight's result also sees Town pick up their sixth clean sheet of the season in twelve league games.

Omar spoke to Shrewsweb shortly after full time and gave his analysis of the game.

"There wasn't too many clear cut chances, but we still created some good chances like Donald's volley at the end if the defender just gets a slight touch on another day that goes straight in maybe. It was a really positive performance to be honest, I thought we were really solid as well and I think this is a good foundation to build on.

"It's never an easy place to come, there's loads of fans, they make it difficult but I thought we frustrated them and did what a lot of teams haven't really done here."

"Six clean sheets is very positive, as any defender that's what you live for and to have six in twelve games is really positive so I think it's a good foundation and shows we're hard to break down and a solid unit. I think if we build from this the goals will come, the lads up top guarantee goals."
