Town to wear purple against The Gills
Shrewsbury Town will play in their popular purple away kit for the home fixture against Gillingham on Tuesday 22nd October.
With the match being sponsored by front of away shirt sponsors Shropshire Homes, and after consulting our opponents Gillingham, it has been decided that Town will play in their change strip for this Sky Bet League One game.
Town’s Commercial Manager Andrew Tretton expressed the clubs thanks for the continued support of long time sponsor Shropshire Homes.
“As Shropshire Homes will be our match sponsors on the night, we felt it was the ideal time to wear the purple away kit for this game”, said Andrew Tretton.
“The kit has been very popular since we introduced it, and I know Howard Thorne and everyone at Shropshire Homes will be very proud to see it in action in front of our home supporters at Montgomery Waters Meadow, as will Rob Wasteney and the guys from back of shirt sponsors Emcon Utility Management.
