NIGEL Arris was been called up to Nigeria U-17 squad as they prepare for the World Cup.
The exciting playmaker has been impressive for Shrewsbury and has clearly caught the eye of the selectors.
Arris has spoken of how excited he is at the prospect of representing his country, he said; “It just feels really good, I just want to play for my country I think everyone aspires to that.
“I want to make my family proud and hopefully I’ll get selected for the U-17 World Cup”.
Arris is hoping that this will not only help his personal development but also benefit him on his return to Shropshire.
He said; “This will help me improve, I’ll be playing with the best from all around the world. That will definitely help me when I come back to Shrewsbury”.
