Town player tests positive for Covid-19
Shrewsbury Town Football Club can confirm an unnamed Salop player has tested positive for Covid-19.
The health and safety of all staff members at Shrewsbury Town Football Club is paramount and the Club has taken all necessary steps to protect all where possible. All Covid preventative measures have been adhered to comprehensively in accordance with Government and EFL guidelines
The individual, who will not be named, will self isolate in accordance with those guidelines. All other first-team members and footballing staff have returned negative tests.
The Club will be making no further comment at this time.
