Salop receives positive feedback from the Sports Ground Safety Authority.
Following the return of our supporters to Montgomery Waters Meadow for our Sky Bet League One fixture against Accrington Stanley, the Club once again received very positive feedback from the Sports Ground Safety Authority inspector who was present throughout the evening's fixture.
Salop received high praise regarding the operational planning and procedures for the event - as well as praise for the "high level of compliance" of our supporters. This has resulted in the recommendation to the local authority that "future events should take place as expected."
Shrewsbury Town Football Club would like to thank all match day staff, our Supporter Liaison Officers, Mike Davis and Roger Groves, and particularly all the supporters who attended for yet again representing the Club in a positive light on a national stage.
